Basecamp Tonsai proudly offers the most comprehensive climbing course program in Thailand! Our school was established in 1996 and we operate on German safety standards. Basecamp Tonsai is one of the very few climbing schools in the area that is entirely run by climbers. For the safety of all our customers, our instructors and guides are the best qualified you can find in Thailand.

We are known for teaching excellence. All upper courses include a comprehensive illustrated textbook. We also offer a Private Guide Service and provide beta on new areas and route condition.

We are located on the main road in Ton Sai at the right corner of the t-junction as you walk up from the beach. To the left of the big yellow bungalows (view map).

Our school is open from daily 8am to 9pm.

Are you planning a school trip or a company outing? We have been running school trips since April 2005 for various schools such as the Lycee Francais de Singapore, Mayflower International, SJI International, Holy Innocent High School, Topas Danish High School, and the climbing club of SMU (Singapore Management University) as well as several companies from Bangkok.
